ESCALA TAGAYTAY, Tagaytay City – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were comfortable with a terrace, they lacked soundproofing and obstructed views from the sofa. The service was friendly and kind overall, though we encountered a mix-up with the bill. The location was good with a view of Taal Lake but lacked proper swimming attire enforcement. The dining was superb with a variety of Filipino and American dishes, but the risotto could be improved.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, while facing the pool, had a musty and moldy smell at times, but were on sale. The staff was extremely kind and respectful, always attentive to our needs. The location, with a great view of Taal Lake and the volcano, was clean and very relaxing due to the breathtaking scenery. The dining experience offered a wide variety of Pinoy and American meals, although it was just okay. The facilities were decent, with a few minor drawbacks.
